Kicked on IRC
Ok… so I was looking for someone I used to chat with on a couple of different IRC servers. After checking for the channel where I thought I might find this guy, I didn’t log off the IRC server… I was idle, that’s what happens when you don’t actively chat. After a while I heard my computer “dinging”… actually it was GAIM dinging. Looking at the computer I find a private message:

Real mature. Heh… I was just being idle. Needless to say, I was kicked 
If you have used GAIM you know that it tries to reconnect if you are disconnected… here’s what happened:

Great… so the not only was the guy I’m trying to find not on the network, but I am now banned for um… what, not answering a question? Hmm… maybe this was who I was looking for. He was childish, obnoxous, and booted people from IRC for no good reason. Guess he really doesn’t want to chat with me… cest la vi
