Job Title – what’s yours?
A while ago a friend of mine got a job at a new company doing all of their computer administration. In the process he had to help come up with a job title that did not include the term “Admin, Administrator” or anything else that might be “mistaken” for a manager or supervisor of the system users. Reading this post on slashdot.org reminded me of our conversations discussing the possible job titles that didn’t include “admin”. Unfortunately his supervisor did not find “Technology Overlord” to be an appropriate title. Maybe “Master of the Devices” from the link would have worked better.
