One was when a stick of RAM failed to show all of the RAM that was supposed to be on it. They wanted to "diagnose" the problem by having me boot into Windows and run a few things. The problem was that since the RAM had failed, it had less RAM than the minimum required for it to actually run. I could not get them to understand that. I also had a similar issue with MS on some of their hardware.
